In 2024 there was a raise in the use of wood within the kitchen. Again this is one of the biggest design elements staying for 2025. The use of natural materials and tones creates an inviting warmth into the room. Combining natural wood, or wood effect, with stone and organic textures and shapes creates a biophillic design. Complimenting these materials with earthy colours to create a calming space that carries the outside in and promotes wellness.

Storage will always be one of the biggest factors in kitchen design, however, how this is implemented may be changing. Whilst seamless hidden pantries and storage remains popular, using storage areas as display is both convenient and creates a design element. Contrasting from seamless storage, creating kitchens that looked lived-in brings warmth into the space. This can be implemented through showcasing your equipment’s such as hanging pots and pans, creating a kitchen feature and improving accessibility. Bespoke storage optimises the space in your kitchen and personalises it to your use.
